Privacy policy
In short: this site collects very little information, and the product runs on your infrastructure. Your data remains under your control, not in our systems.
Pre-registration
If you pre-register, we store your email address, the page or campaign that brought you here, your language, your consent, and the date and time of registration. We use that data for one purpose: to tell you about the Backplane launch. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; when you use it, we remove you from the list.
Analytics
If we enable analytics on this site, we use aggregate, cookie-free data such as visits and referring pages. We do not create profiles or track people across sites, and that data cannot identify you.
The product itself
Backplane is self-hosted software. The instances you run process data on your infrastructure and under your control; that information is not sent to Valaris. The platform includes no telemetry collector and makes no call-home connections by default.
Third parties
Pre-registrations are stored through the form provider we operate. We do not sell, share, or combine the list with other sources. This site uses no advertising networks.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what information we hold about you or request its deletion. Simply reply to any email we have sent; a person always reads it.
